This policy explains what information FESBC collects, why it is used, when it may be shared, how it is protected, and how members can exercise their rights.

We collect information provided directly to FESBC when applying for membership, registering for training, requesting services, subscribing to updates, or contacting the Federation. This may include business identity details, registered name, TIN, industry type, postal and physical addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, directors or contact persons, and proof of payment for subscriptions.

FESBC uses information to process membership applications, issue certificates, confirm subscriptions, deliver training and advisory services, communicate federation updates, support member benefits, recommend members for relevant committees or boards, and promote approved member visibility where applicable to the membership tier.

FESBC does not sell member data. Information may only be shared where necessary for federation work, including with affiliated organisations for trade linkages, government or statutory bodies for representation and appointments, service providers supporting federation operations, or where required by law, regulation, or legitimate protection of the Federation and its members.

FESBC takes reasonable physical, administrative, and electronic measures to protect member and business records from unauthorised access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. Information is retained for as long as necessary to provide federation services, maintain membership records, meet audit requirements, or comply with applicable legal and administrative obligations.
